The nonwoven material has the structure of a loose and light bulked wadding using colored metal filaments and especially wires, laid in spirals or looped irregularly with each other. The majority of the metal wires have a round cross section as round wires (1). The other wires in the material are rolled to give parallel sides as flat wires (2). The round wires are drawn into a diameter of 0.05-0.1 mm. The flat wires have a width of 0.1-1.0 mm and a thickness of 0.01-0.1 mm. The wires have an electrochemical surface coating.
