The part on the resin substrate side of a disk has a hardness greater than that of the part on the cover layer side of the disk through which a laser beam passes. The stress produced by the thermal expansion of the organic dye during information recording is diffused to the cover layer side. The relation between the hardnesses of both parts may be satisfied when information is recorded. As a result, the deformation of the reflective layer and cross-write can be prevented when information is recorded, enabling minuter information recording. The organic dye is interposed between a protective film and the reflective film, and the heat transfer to the protective film can be greater than that to the reflective film.
|
