The feed device for the individual support elements of motor vehicle bodies comprises first (1,1'), second (2,2') and third (3,3') pairs of transporting units, each with motorized rollers (11,11', 21,21', 31,31'). The motorized rollers (31,31') of the third transporting unit are mounted in such a way that they can rotate sideways around a vertical center axis (32,32') between a receiving position for support elements (4), in which they are located at an angle to one another and orientated for alignment with the second transporting unit, and a working position, in which they are orientated parallel to one another.
