A computer system for testing formulations includes a device for inputting a test job into a server databank (6,7). A first databank (11,12) stores number and/or type of specimen bodies required for testing and a first program device (14,15) accesses a first databank for determining the number of specimen bodies required for the test job. A second program device (14,16) for calculating the required amount of material needed for manufacturing the specimen body. A third program device for generating a first part job for manufacturing the required amount of material. A fourth program device for generating a second part job for manufacturing a required sample body and a fifth program device for generating a third part job for carrying out the tests.
