SYSTEM FOR MANUFACTURING AND TRANSFORMING FACE PHOTOGRAPH BY CONTROL POINT ADJUSTING METHOD

PURPOSE: A system for manufacturing and transforming a face photograph by a control point adjusting method is provided to manufacture a new face image by transforming a sample photograph or transform components of a face in a digital photograph. CONSTITUTION: A face image selected by a user is inputted(S1). Positions of both eyes of a photograph image are grasped in a photograph and the face image is normalized based on the positions of the eyes(S1-1). A rotating angle is calculated when the user wants to transform only the selected face(S1-2). A spline curve is approximated by the component of a face to initially set up controls points(S1-3). A range of an occupied area of each component in the face is set up(S2). It is judged whether the changes of the control points are proper(S3). The spline curve transformed according to changes in positions of the control points is approximated and pixel information of each component of the face are rearranged to transform the face(S4). The occupied areas are interpolated(S5). A new face is generated and displayed(S6). Additional transform or make-up is applied to the generated face(S6-1).
