PURPOSE: A device of absorbing shock of a steering column for a car is provided not to devide a column into two or more tube by forming a shock absorber of a column on a connecting a bracket. CONSTITUTION: A device of absorbing shock of a steering column for a car comprises : a fixing part of a body side(21) to include several bolt holes(21a) for fixing on a body ; a fixing part of a column side(22) to include a hole(22a) for passing through a column(1) ; a shock absorber part(23) to be formed on between a fixing part of a body side(21) and a fixing part of a column side(22), and to include a across hole(23a) having wider width than a fixing part of a column side(22) and forming a groove(23b) on the center.
