PURPOSE: An abrasion resistant molten compound is provided, which has excellent abrasion resistance, chemical resistance and heat resistance, a low coefficient of friction and a high far infrared ray emitting rate and can be used an internal and external decoration material for construction. CONSTITUTION: The abrasion resistant molten compound is prepared by mixing three kinds of minerals of quartz, albite and clinochlore, and adding a functional additive comprising Fe2O3, TiO2, MnO and K2O to the mineral mixture; melting the mixture at a temperature of 1,280 deg.C for 14 min, and casting the molten one at a furnace of 1,200 deg.C or more by ; and heating the cast one for improving the strength by recrystallization.
