<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller capable of extensively reducing man-hours by shorting data transfer time in manufacture, a data rewriting method for the controller, a rewritable nonvolatile memory and an air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: A data code to be used as rewriting information and a check code for determining whether or not the data code is normal are stored in areas 4a and 4b of an EEPROM 4. A data code determined to be normal by a CPU 1 on the basis of the data code and the check code is written in an area 3a of a RAM 3 in place of a constant. When the CPU 1 determines that the data code and the check code are rewriting unnecessary codes, rewriting of the area 3a of the RAM 3 is not carried out. When the CPU 1 determines that a data code is abnormal on the basis of the data code and the check code, all rewriting to the area 3a of the RAM 3 are not carried out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
