<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component imaging method, a component imaging apparatus, and a component placing apparatus for suppressing the imaging error occurrence frequencies of the images of a plurality of components and improving the working efficiency of the imaging of components when a retention state is recognized by the image of the plurality of components being retained, and the plurality of components are to be mounted on a circuit board according to the recognition result. <P>SOLUTION: In the component imaging method for imaging the image of an imaging surface in components on an imaging plane by an imaging system, each range wherein the imaging surface of the plurality of components can be imaged is set, each relative position on each imaging surface in the direction of distance between the imaging surface and the imaging system in the plurality of components is being retained, at the same time the imaging surface of the entire components and the imaging system are moved relatively, the imaging plane of the imaging system is positioned to a region where the ranges that can be imaged overlap, and the images of the plurality of components are imaged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
