<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional power unit which performs the switching on and off of a main power source by a relay, such that there is a possibility of an excessive rush current flowing or surge voltage, such as counter-electromotive force being generated and there is the possibility of its breaking the rectifying diode, etc., of the power unit in case that the switching on and off of the relay is performed, independently of the voltage waveform of an AC power source. <P>SOLUTION: A microcomputer 10 can output a signal for switching on and off the relay 5, based on the control signal from a remote controller signal photoreceiver 12, being synchronized with the voltage waveform of the AC power source to the relay 5 for switching on and off the AC line of the power circuit composed of a rectifying diode 1 and a capacitor 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
