<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device which can be started (operated) even at a low temperature below an operating temperature limit in the electronic device on which a microprocessor (CPU) and peripheral parts are mounted, and to provide a cold starting method for the electronic device. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic device having the microprocessor and the peripheral parts loaded is provided with a temperature sensor 3 for measuring the surface temperature of a printed board 1 provided with the microprocessor and the peripheral parts, and a heating means 4 controlled to be turned on when the temperature measured by the temperature sensor is not higher than a first set temperature and to be turned off when the measured temperature is not lower than a second set temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
