PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the assembly property of a stator by enabling the assembly of the stator to be completed, keeping the windings of split cores electrically connected. SOLUTION: This stator assembly device is composed of a holding jig 50 where a plurality of holders 51, etc., (only one is shown in this Fig.) for clamping the yokes 72 of split cores 71 are coupled with one another in a chain form, a straight arrangement mechanism 20 which allows the holders 51, etc., to be put side by side rectilinearly by being arranged at one end of this holding jig 50, and an annular arrangement mechanism 40 which allows the holders 51, etc., to be put side by side in ring shape so that the tips of polls 73 may turn outward in the radial direction by being arranged at the other end of the holding jig 50 and allows the holders 51, etc., to be put side by side in ring shape so that the tips of the polls 73 may turn inward in the radial direction by being rewound in reverse direction.
