The invention relates to a cooled component for a thermal engine, in particular a gas turbine. A cooling medium, in particular cooled air, flows for impingement cooling purposes from a distribution chamber through a perforated plate (29), which comprises interspaced perforations (32) and is located in front of a cooling surface (27) of the component at a distance from the latter. Said cooling medium strikes the cooling surface (27) in the form of cooling medium jets (33) and flows away in a parallel direction to the cooling surface (27) in the cooling zone (28) that is formed between the cooling surface (27) and the perforated plate (29). In a component of this type, an optimal cooling action can be largely maintained, even in significant changes of temperature, by the provision of beads (30, 31), which run transversally to one another, on the perforated plate (29).
