PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling caller ID display is provided to instantly display telephone numbers of callers while storing the telephone numbers and originating time in a memory, thereby searching for the telephone numbers at any time if necessary. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(100) for controlling caller ID display is connected between an AV(Audio Visual) or RF(Radio Frequency) terminal of a television receiver(50). If a call is incoming, the apparatus detects a caller ID of the call and displays the caller ID on a screen of the television receiver. The apparatus memorizes the caller ID by the incoming time. A radio telephone(200) executes a telephone conversation with a caller and controls to display a list of telephone numbers of callers stored in the apparatus on the screen of the television receiver. The radio telephone orders search or deletion of telephone numbers, orders callback, and adjusts volume and channels of the television receiver. |
