PURPOSE: A cabinet assembly for a refrigerator is provided to obtain the cabinet assembly having an outer case produced by just assembling without welding work. CONSTITUTION: A cabinet assembly for a refrigerator includes an outer case(10) with two side plates(120,130) each having front portions(122,132) and rear portions, and with an upper plate(100); plural reinforcing members(20,30,40,50,60) to increase the structural stiffness of the outer case; and a unit for fixing the plural reinforcing members to the outer case. The cabinet assembly doesn't have welded portion. The cabinet assembly includes plural insulating members made of foam styrene. Thus, environmental pollution is prevented.
