<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber sheet having improved moisture resistance while retaining flexibility. <P>SOLUTION: The optical fiber sheet has: body portion 15 formed by laminating a sheetlike substrate and a laminate material 12 comprising a moisture resistant material to each other; optical fibers 13 interposed between the substrate and the laminate material 12 of the body portion 15 and arranged in a prescribed state; and a sealing member 25 comprising a moisture resistant material and continuously covering the surface and the edge faces 28 of the substrate and the backside of the laminate material 12 in an airtight state at the periphery of the body portion 15 while retaining the flexibility of the body portion 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
