<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft magnetic Fe alloy which exhibits reduced self- heating by optimization of heat treatment conditions for the microcrystalline alloy and which has excellent soft magnetic properties, low core loss and low coercive force. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the soft magnetic Fe alloy, crystal grains containing at least bcc-Fe are precipitated and the microcrystalline structure is formed by heat treating to a ribbon-shaped or powdery rapidly solidified body having an amorphous phase as a main phase to crystallize it. In this method, the following heat treatment is carried out at least two or more times; the rapidly solidified body is heated to a temperature which is higher than initial crystallization temperature and at which practically no compound phase is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
