PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position information reporting system and a position information reporting method for providing additional information to the position information of a desired point. SOLUTION: Registered information consisting of the position information of a desired point and additional information corresponding to the position information are registered by an information registering terminal that can be carried, and has a GPS reception section and an information-registering means. The registered information is stored in a terminal for reporting information that can be carried and has a GPS reception section, a registered information storing section, and an information reporting means. Then, the terminal for reporting information detects a current position by the GPS reception section, and reports the additional information corresponding to the position information by speech when the current position information coincides with the position information that is registered as the registered information in the position information reporting system and method.
