PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain an image with less uneven glossiness by appropriately separating a recording medium with fixed toner, and also, suppressing the occurrence of uneven toner fixation on the recording medium, in a belt fixation device for fixing the toner on the recording medium. SOLUTION: In the belt fixation device, a fixation belt 10 is stretched over the outer periphery of a 1st roller 12 and the outer periphery of a 2nd roller 13, and the 1st roller and the 2nd roller are pressed against a pressure roller 15 via the fixation belt, and the recording medium 1 with the toner (t) supplied is guided from the 1st roller side to a nip between the fixation belt and the pressure roller, and then, the toner is fixed on the recording medium in the nip between the fixation belt and the pressure roller, thereafter, the recording medium with the toner fixed is discharged from the 2nd roller side, and as for the pressure of the 2nd roller against the pressure roller, the pressure at the end part of the 2nd roller is made higher than that at the center part.
