PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle sensor capable of reducing angle errors due to axis deviations. SOLUTION: An inner ring of a deformed bearing 302 is tapered. When a magnet 304 is rotated with a rotating shaft 300 fixed to the inner ring, output corresponding to an angle change is obtained from a magnetic sensor 310 arranged in the vicinity immediately beneath the circumference of the magnet 304. When the rotation angle sensor is arranged in such a way that gravity is exerted downward from above the drawing, the force that the inner ring of the deformed bearing 302 presses a rotator toward the inner side surface of its outer ring acts by their own weight of the rotating shaft 300 and the magnet 304. Therefore, since the rotating shaft 300 is hardly affected by forces in lateral directions, it is possible to reduce errors in angle measurements due to lateral deviations of the rotating shaft.
