PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera constituted so that a lens barrel is easily detached from and attached to a camera body. SOLUTION: The camera has the lens barrel 2 incorporating a photographic lens capable of zooming, a finder unit 10 zoom-driven interlocked with the lens barrel 2 and a cam plate 7, and the finder unit 10 is zoom-driven through the cam plate 7 driven and turned by a driving pin 5 attached to the moving frame 4 of the lens barrel 2. In the case of detaching the lens barrel 2 from the camera body 1 for the purpose of repair, the cam plate 7 is moved to a zooming unused area so as to release the engagement of the unit 10 with the cam plate 7. Under the engagement release condition, the lens barrel 2 is detached from the body 1 without detaching the unit 10 from the body 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
