PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stroboscopic device by which a beautiful picture is easily taken. SOLUTION: R, G and B LEDs 38R, 38G and 38B are used as an electronic flash light source, and color temperature is adjusted by controlling the emitted light quantity of the respective LEDs 38R, 38G and 38B. The color temperature suitable for taking the picture of an object is stored for every object in a ROM 25. When an object is designated, the color temperature corresponding to the designated object is read out from the ROM 25, and the electronic flash light having the color temperature read out is emitted.
