摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tandem scanning optical device capable of easily and accurately adjusting the incident angles and the incident positions of a plurality of beams on the same surface of a deflector. SOLUTION: By making four laser beams (LY, LM, LC and LK) incident on the same deflection and reflection surface (1S) of the deflector (1) at different angles in a subscanning direction, the separation of their optical paths in the subscanning direction is performed with their deflection for scanning in a main scanning direction. The laser beams (LY, LM, LC and LK) are simultaneously rotationally decentered by a mirror adjusting part by which the direction of a reflection mirror (19) is changed in an adjustable state in order to adjust the incident angles in the subscanning direction. Then, the laser beams (LY, LM, LC and LK) are simultaneously decentered in parallel by a light source adjusting part by which a light source part (20) is displaced in parallel in an adjustable state in order to adjust the incident positions in the subscanning direction.
