PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal impeller capable of reducing the total height in the direction of a rotating shaft with a motor, being free from the impairing of efficiency, the increase of noise and the generation of noise, and keeping motor cooling effect. SOLUTION: This centrifugal impeller has a conical main plate provided with a hole around the rotating shaft, a height of a top face of the main plate is more than a height of a blade, the hole is positioned at a height more than a half of the height of the blade, and a width in the radial direction is smaller than a width in the circumferential direction on the plane projection shape of the hole. As the total height in the direction of the rotating shaft including the motor can be reduced, and the hole of the main plate is positioned at the height more than the half of the height of the blade, the disordering just before a blade can be prevented, and the motor cooling effect of the hole and the prevention of the noise from the motor can be kept while reducing the impairing of the efficiency and the generation of noise. Further as the radial width of the plane projection shape of the hole is smaller than the width in the circumferential direction, the pressure fluctuation by a side in the radial direction of the hole can be inhibited, and the noise can be reduced.
