PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide conductive particles used for electronic parts as vertical conducting materials, anisotropic conducting members of LCDs, and consist of silica particles securely bonded with projections of the similar sizes over the entire surface of parent body particles as cores and are provided with insulative coating layers on their outer peripheries. SOLUTION: The conductive silica particles having the silica particles provided with the substantially global and/or spherical shapes bonded by chemical bonding over the entire surface of the parent body particles and conductive coating layers formed on their surfaces and the particles provided with insulative coating layers on their outer peripheries.
