The invention relates to a combustion furnace for solid fuel, comprising a grate (11) with openings (12) for supplying air or other gas mixture for the combustion. Some rod feeders (1 and 2) are provided with parallel bars (3 a and 3 b) and the intermediary supports (5). The rod feeders (1 and 2) are carried out so as to be moved independently of each other, back and forth on the grate (11). The orifices (12) are surrounded by spacers (13) on which some rails (14) are provided so as to form some slots (15) between the spacers (13) and rails (14) to let air exit outside the grate (11) which is parallel to the rail (11).
