PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve tact-up by enabling a higher speed operation by making a plural pitch transfer velocity of a part insertion mechanism and a part inspection mechanism larger than one pitch transfer velocity thereof. SOLUTION: A CPU 60 controls an X-axial drive motor 28C as a transfer drive source of a part insertion mechanism 15 in the X-axial direction so that the six pitch returning transfer velocity, after inserting six pieces, of an XY table 28 in the X-direction for movement of a part insertion mechanism 15 to orderly insert the part in each housing groove 3B of the tape main body 3A becomes larger than one pitch transfer velocity thereof. The CPU 60 controls an X-axial drive motor 41A as a transfer drive source of a part inspection mechanism 35 in the X-axial direction so that the six pitch returning transfer velocity, after inspecting six pieces, of an XY table 41 in the X-direction for movement of a part inspection mechanism 35 to inspect each chip part inserted in each housing groove 3B of the tape main body 3A becomes larger than one pitch transfer velocity thereof.
