Conjugate (A) for determining antigens (Ag), using a biosensor, comprises a mediator (M) covalently linked to Ag and an antibody (Ab), specific for Ag, bound by Ag-Ab interactions. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) detecting Ag using a biosensor that contains (A); and (2) biosensor, for determining substrates (S), comprising electrodes that, together with an enzyme-containing substance, make possible electrochemical measurements of (S), and (A).
