PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a traveling characteristic of a tire for a vehicle, particularly a motorcycle, having a structure comprising vulcanized elastic rubber wherein a cord wound body of 0°is incorporated in the structure, and a cord 3 used for the cord wound body comprises a connected body comprising spirally wound wire enclosed by at least one rubber coating and having an area provided with at least an approximately linear force-elongation characteristic. SOLUTION: In a completed tire not filled with air and a tire filled with air of a working pressure, the cord 3 remains within an approximately linear area, and an inclination within the approximately linear area is between 0.05-0.2% per 10 N.
