PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed circuit board with an optical waveguide which prevents electric wiring from being disconnected in forming an optical path conversion part in the optical waveguide and increases the degree of freedom in board design, and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: With respect to the printed circuit board and the manufacturing method therefor for forming a cut groove crossing an optical waveguide 2 to provide an optical path conversion part 11 after forming the optical waveguide 2 on an electric circuit board 3, a hole 12 being the start point of cutting with the edge of a cutter blade C and another hole 13 being the end point on the opposite side to the hole 12 being the start point are formed in the vicinity of the optical waveguide 2 across the waveguide 2, and thereafter, the edge of the cutter blade C travels from the hole 12 as the start point to the hole 13 as the end point to form the cutting groove 10.
