PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably support a sample body to be tested in a predetermined attitude and to drop the element. SOLUTION: The lifting and disconnecting apparatus used for the drop test comprises an apparatus body, a pair of arms disposed oppositely to each other, supported at intermediate parts to the body by a horizontal shaft so that the arms are rotated between a first position in which upper ends are approached to each other and lower ends are separated from each other with the horizontal shaft used as a fulcrum and a second position in which the upper ends are separated from each other and the lower ends are approached to each other, a cylinder disposed above the pair of the arms and provided in the body and having a piston which is raised or lowered along the vertical direction so as to approach the piston to or to separate the piston from the pair of the arms, a spacer mounted at the piston of the cylinder and inserted between the upper parts of the pair of the arms and fixing the pair of the arms to the second position, and a hanger for supporting to hang the sample body to be tested and rotatably supported when the pair of the arms are disposed at the second position.
