PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for analyzing and alarming sheet width fluctuation that can analyze a data concerning the fluctuation of sheet width and provide an operator with estimated fluctuation factors based on the analyzed result as a maintenance information of a process device and a quality information of a product. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a Fourier analysis means in which being input a sampled signal of a sheet end fluctuation signal from a reference position at both ends of a sheet to be conveyed by a rotary body means and obtains the frequency characteristic of the sheet end fluctuation at a specified cycle, a synchrony judging means using a correlation between a frequency giving a maximum sheet end fluctuation by the frequency characteristic and the rotating frequency of the rotary body, and a meandering alarming means that alarms meandering of the sheet when the synchrony is within a specified value.
