PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper cup consisting of a body and a bottom having a top curl curled outwardly on a periphery of an opening, and moreover capable of being manufactured without causing fracture failure in the top curl. SOLUTION: The paper cup consists of a body and a bottom and has a top curl curled outwardly on a periphery of an opening. In this paper cup, a coating agent is applied to an upper periphery of body paper of which a body member for forming the body is made. Further, the coating agent may optionally be water-soluble one.
