PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collator, a collating medium and a collating system in which collating information contained in the collating medium as a key is difficult to copy and a collation by media excepting the corresponding collating medium is difficult and a locking device using these collator, medium and system. SOLUTION: The locking device is composed of the collating system with the collator 1 and the collating medium 2 and a locking section 3. The collator 1 has a collating sensor 11 and a signal processing section 12. The collating sensor 11 measures the transient change of differential flux density as collating information. The signal processing section 12 prepares collating information from the transient change of the obtained differential flux density, and conducts the collation. The locking section 3 conducts an operation for a locking or an unlocking. In the collating system and the locking device using it, the place of a measurement used for the collation is difficult to decide because of the little identifiability of the place of the measurement and places excepting the place in the transient change of the differential flux density of a section to be collated, and a reference from a third party of collating information is difficult to perform.
