PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize excellent assembling workability by reducing the number of parts and simplifying the structure. SOLUTION: In this vertical sliding door device, weights 5 having weights equal to or generally equal to those of the doors are connected to the plurality of doors 1 arranged parallel with each other in longitudinal direction so that the doors can be slid in vertical direction. A decorative cap can be installed on the upper end of a vertical frame 12, and a support plate for rotatably supporting a guide roller guiding a tension member and changing the directions thereof is formed integrally with the cap to be suspended downward from the cap. The guide roller is rotatably disposed on either of the front and rear surfaces of the support plate at portions where the guide of the tension member is required so that the tension member can be wound on the guide roller.
