PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet apparatus which has a cooling means arranged in one body therein, and can suppress a DC power circuit with respect to its space and cost. SOLUTION: The toilet apparatus is provided with the cooling means operated according to a cooling cycle by a compressor, a condenser, a decompressor, an evaporator, and a blower, and at least one of a private parts warm-water washing means and a private parts drying means. According to the toilet apparatus, when the private parts warm-water washing means or the private parts drying means is operated during operation of the cooling means, the operation of the blower is halted while the compressor is maintained in an operating state, and the blower is restarted after completion of the operation of the private parts warm-water washing means or the private parts drying means. Therefore, a DC power circuit having a small output capacity is available for the toilet apparatus. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
