<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording medium having excellent recording feeding properties and recording image quality. <P>SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive recording medium comprises a heat-sensitive recording layer containing an electron donative compound and an electron acceptive compound, and a protective layer containing a pigment and an adhesive. In this medium, as the pigment in the protective layer, a pigment surface treated by at least a mono(di)alkyl phosphorate or its salt of 0.1 to 40 mass% is used to the protective layer. Particularly, a treating amount of the mono(di) alkyl phosphorate or its salt in the surface-treated pigment of about 0.01 to 20 mass% to the surface-treated pigment is preferred. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
