ARCHITECTURAL SOUND ENHANCEMENT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for transmitting evenly distributed masking sound to a space for masking distracting noise.

SOLUTION: This system for generating a selected sound in a space having a suspended ceiling, a plenum on the suspended ceiling and a hard ceiling on the plenum includes at least one flat panel transducer selectively arranged on the suspended ceiling for directing the sound toward the space when the system is driven by an audio signal, an electronic module connected with the flat panel transducer and a system controller in the electronic module connected with a sound generator.
