PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the loss of a removed light shielding plate. SOLUTION: The film magazine 4 is provided with the light shielding plate 25 movable between a first position where a first aperture 15 is covered and a second position where the aperture 15 is exposed. A gear section 25a is formed at the plate 25 and is meshed with a gear 94 driven cooperatively with an operating knob. An antirotating claw is meshed with a gear of a gear train meshed with the gear 94 and when the film magazine 4 is mounted on a camera body, the meshing of the antirotating claw and the gear is released and the rotation of the operating knob is permitted. While the plate 25 moved along the wall within the film magazine 4 is bent to an arcuate form by rotation of the operating knob, the plate is housed into a housing chamber 65 existing in the lower part of the film magazine 4.
