PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable power type finder capable of more accurately positioning a movable lens group while realizing compact constitution. SOLUTION: Since a finder body 5 and a cam barrel 2 are directly positioned by making the engaging part 5c of the projection 5b of the finder body 5 abut on the side surface 2f of the peripheral groove 2e of the cam barrel 2, 1st and 2nd lenses L1 and L2 are accurately positioned with respect to the finder body 5 regardless of a zoom position.
