PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device of high display quality by instantly eliminating the electric charges stored in a storage capacitor when the power is turned off, and instantly erasing a video reflected on a liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: A circuit is configured so as to supply an off-voltage Voff for turning off a thin film transistor by using an operational amplifier 14 as a voltage follower by dividing the voltage by a resistor 15 and a resistor 16. The positive power source V+ of the operational amplifier 14 is set to a voltage value at the level to which the off-voltage Voff is desired to be raised up just as the power source is turned off, and a negative power source V- is set to a voltage value lower than Voff. Moreover, the capacitor 18 is set to be small and the capacitor 17 is set to be large so that the negative power source falls and the positive power source V+ does not fall just as the power source is turned off.
