PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal chain in which grease is encapsulated as improvement of a conventional technique where the oil components of the grease will bleed out of the seal part to hinder from establishing a long lifetime. SOLUTION: Using a seal member 9, the oil O is put in the gap C between a pin 7 and bushing 3 and sealed. The encapsulated oil is all lubricative components, and the substantially encapsulated lubricative component becomes much. The manufacturing process is as easy as only requiring immersing the pin and bushing in an oil chamber. The oil has a dynamic viscosity of 100 m<SP>2</SP>/s and a viscosity index of 90 or more. The hardness of the seal member 9 ranges from Hs 65 to Hs 90, while the surface roughness of the part of an inner 2 and an outer plate 6 where the seal member abuts ranges from 0.3 a to 1.0 a.
