PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a reactor control rod drive mechanism control system (70) to restore a complete operating state when any one transponder card becomes out of order. SOLUTION: The transponder card (76) for the control system (70) is provided. The control system comprises a control processor (72) and a plurality of electrical devices which are operation-coupled to the control processor. The control system is constituted in such a way that the transponder card receives a command from the control processor, that when it receives the command, it operates any proper electrical device, that it detects a failure of a control circuit in the transponder card, that it transmits a failure warning and that when the command to operate the electrical device is not available during the failure event of the control circuit, it stops a power supply to the electrical device.
