The invention relates to a socket and spigot type joint, meant to join to another two hollow bodies of the kind of those forming the bore-hole tubes, known as casing pipes and which are used in gas or oil wells. The spigot (a) and the socket (b) type joint for hollow bodies has the profile along the joint provided with three distinct areas ( alpha, beta, gamma) located as follows : in the spigot, cylindrical-conical area ( gamma), a cylinder-cylindrical area (alpha) and cone-cylindrical area (beta) located at the end of the pipe, in the socket, the location of the three areas being exactly opposite. The angle of the threaded side, u, measured in relation to a perpendicular plane on the pipe axle ranges from 6 to 12 degree , after the cylinder-conical area ( gamma), the spigot ends with apron (f) inclined at an angle ranging from 18 to 22 degree in relation to a perpendicular plane on the pipe axle, the same inclined apron (f) being also located at the end of the spigot (b).
