Hinge for doors, windows and the like

The first half (30) of the hinge (100) is secured to the front surface (2) of the fixed door- or window-frame, and the second half (40) to that of the leaf (20). The first half extends above the second one to accommodate a pin (6) passing through both, and which forms the hinge axis (A). The pin is movable in a straight guide in the transverse direction, so as to adjust the leaf position inside the frame. The external screw (50) adjusting the pin is actuated from the top of the hinge, and its axis can be parallel to the hinge axis. The pin can be accommodated in a bush (8) which is guided in a recess allowing no free movement in the hinge half (42).
