<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide different chips functioned variously on the same wafer, without changing a production process. <P>SOLUTION: In this method for depositing a material selectively on each electrode 21 of a biosensor or chip 20 formed of a single substrate 1, (a) the plurality of biosensors or chips 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 having the plurality of electrodes 21, a plurality of address pads 23 and a plurality of address- recognizable address areas 22 are formed on the same substrate 1, (b) the biosensors or chips are brought selectively into an activated condition by a command word, (c) the material is deposited concurrently on the electrodes by electro-deposition, and (d) the step (b) and the step (c) are repeated with the required frequency required for the material deposition onto the plurality of other electrodes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
