<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize video of high quality of making the time, for which a pixel array is lighted up by a light strobe, effectively long with a silicon chip display cell structure capable of operating in field sequential mode that is used for a liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: Provided are 1st to 3rd write enable transistors (T1, T2, T3) 1st to 3rd storage capacitors (Cs<SB>-</SB>R, Cs<SB>-</SB>G, Cs<SB>-</SB>B), and 1st to 3rd display enable transistors (T4, T5, T6). Before corresponding display enable transistors are turned on one after another to display associated color fields, the 1st to 3rd write enables transistors turn on one after another so that video data are preloaded to the corresponding storage capacitors within some color field time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
