PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic substrate for an indicating element which is small in a coefficient of linear expansion while satisfying the transparency, solvent resistance, liquid crystal resistance, heat resistance, low retardation value, etc., required as the substrate for the display element and more particularly a plastic substrate for an active matrix indicating element. SOLUTION: The plastic substrate for the indicating element is a sheet formed by crosslinking a composite composition containing (meth)acrylate (a) having≥2 functional groups and silica particulates (b) having a mean particle size of 1 to 100 nm.
