摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a power roller from being dislocated from a trunnion member and also to improve the strength and rigidity of the whole of a trunnion assembly. SOLUTION: The trunnion assembly 150 nipped between input and output discs 110 and 210 consists of the power roller 153 and the trunnion member 151. The trunnion member 151 consists of: a pair of bearing parts 152 oscillatorily supported at two ends in the direction of an oscillating shaft; a support part having a support plane 151c, rotatably supporting the power roller formed by integrally interconnecting the bearing parts, and a support side 151d; and a reinforcing member 157 mounted nipping the power roller, supported at a support part, and with the two ends of the support part intercoupled. A recessed part 153b and a protrusion part 157a are formed respectively in and on the opposed surfaces of the power roller 153 and the reinforcing member 157, and by loosely fitting the protrusion part and the recessed part in each other, the power roller is held at the support part between the support part and the reinforcing member with relative movement of the power roller by a given amount in a direction extending at right angles with its rotation axis.
