PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a surface-protecting film excellent in curved surface- following property, and easily performing its pasting work. SOLUTION: This surface-protecting film 1 installed with 4 adhesive layers on the one side surface of a substrate 3 is provided with the substrate whose resin is constituted mainly with a blended material of 99-80 wt.% polypropylene and 1-20 wt.% ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, having≥0.15μm arithmetic mean of coarseness at the surface not installed with the 4 adhesive layers to improve the curved surface-following property and make the applying work easy.
